DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 2, 2018

High Value PF
Zach Randolph, SAC vs CHA ($6,100): Based on his recent games, I’m not sure why Randolph’s salary is as high as it is. He needs 27.6 fantasy points to hit value against the Hornets. He’s been at that number just once in his last five games. His minutes are way down and it looks like the Kings are slowly phasing him out of their plans. He can be a handful in the paint with his scoring and ability to rebound, but until he shows it again, he’s a risky player. **
John Collins, ATL at PHO ($4,900): Collins has been at value or better in five of his last six games. His scoring numbers have been inconsistent, but he’s always a threat to grab double-digit rebounds. On top of his rebounding ability, he’s typically good for a defensive play or two. I love Collins’ energy off the bench and that he can trouble the inconsistent frontcourt of the Suns. ****
Marquese Chriss, PHO vs ATL ($4,600): Chriss appears to the the frontcourt flavor of the week in Phoenix. That could change in a hurry if you’ve followed Phoenix this year, but you may as well ride Chriss while you know he’s going to get minutes. He’s been over 25 fantasy points in three straight contests. Chriss is a solid scorer and rebounder, assuming he continues to play 20+ minutes a night. ***
