With the semifinal games in the books, Alabama will be taking on Georgia in the title game, and here is when the game is slated to take place.
It will be an All SEC national title game in college football, as the Alabama Crimson Tide will take on the Georgia Bulldogs to see who will be the last team standing. Georgia got to the final game by knocking off Oklahoma in a double-overtime thriller in the Rose Bowl. In the Sugar Bowl, Alabama was very business-like against Clemson, as they avenged their loss in the championship game last season.
For Georgia, it will be a home game in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, as the game will be played inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The Bulldogs were down two touchdowns at halftime against the Sooners in the Rose Bowl, but were able to run all over them in the second half. While Sooners quarterback Baker Mayfield was able to come back and take his team into overtime, the running attack of Georgia was just too much.
