Watch The X-Files season 11 premiere online
By Nick Tylwalk
Mulder and Scully are back for the beginning of what we think is really the final season. Probably. Definitely probably.
It’s hard to uncover The Truth (™), but if we’ve learned anything from 10 seasons of The X-Files, it’s that it is out there. The work of finding it may never be truly done, which is why we’re happy to have Agents Mulder and Scully back on the job again.
A revival of The X-Files seemed like an impossible dream at one point, given the busy schedules of David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson. Yet it managed to come together even 14 years after the mega-popular sci-fi series first left Fox, and it proved so successful that bringing the crew together again ended up a no-brainer.
So here we are on the verge of a 10-episode 11th season, one that is said to have two “mythology” episodes and eight monster of the week or standalone hours. The season premiere, “My Struggle III,” is in the former group, and allegedly picks up right where the season 10 finale left off.
