High Salary SF

Kevin Durant, GS at HOU ($8,700): Durant had 58 fantasy points against the Warriors on Wednesday. He’ll get his usual 23+ points, but has really helped his value this season with his rebounding and defense. He had 41.75 fantasy points against the Rockets on opening night. He’s always reliable for 45 fantasy points and if he’s blocking shots, that number only increase. His salary is way too long for the numbers he should put up on Thursday. *****

Paul George, OKC at LAC ($7,000): George had a cool 70.25 fantasy points against the Clippers back on Nov. 10. He doesn’t need to takeover games now like he did then thanks to the balanced offense of the Thunder. That said, he’s shot extremely well in recent weeks and is always good for a couple of defensive plays. He needs to increase his rebounding and playmaking to really boost his value, but he should be good for 35+ fantasy points in this one. ****

High Value SF

Carmelo Anthony, OKC at LAC ($5,800): Anthony has been at value or better in seven of his last eight contests. He’s knocking down threes, generally shooting well, and chipping in with rebounds. He had 28.5 fantasy points against the Clippers back in November. That number would put him three points over value on Thursday. He’s becoming a very reliable play. ***

Gerald Green, HOU vs GS ($4,000): Green had 41 fantasy points against the Magic on Wednesday. He looks like a perfect fit in the Rockets offense. He’s a career 36 percent shooter from deep and he’ll continue to get his shots up in Houston. He’s also done well on the boards, which has only served to help his value. ****
