Nashville’s final season begins Thursday with the Nashville season premiere. Here’s how to watch Nashville season 6, episode 1 live, on TV and online.
The final season of Nashville starts Thursday on CMT, so we’re telling you how to watch Nashville online and watch Nashville live so that you can see how the country music drama will start its swan song.
The season premiere is called “New Strings,” and with Juliette (Hayden Panettiere) now leading the show, the episode focuses on her once again trying to reinvent herself. After last season’s accident recovery storyline, now Juliette is doing some soul-searching, trying to recover following a public breakdown. Could she rise back to the top again as a hardened veteran, coming full circle after starting the show as a new sensation?
Nashville season 6 also continues to show Deacon (Charles Esten) dealing with the loneliness he’s battled ever since the death of his wife Rayna (Connie Britton, who’s now starring on FOX in Ryan Murphy’s 9-1-1). Will “New Strings” start Deacon toward a new romance? Especially since it was hinting at one with Jessie (Kaitlin Doubleday) last season? Will fans be ready to see Deacon dating someone else?
You’ll want to watch Nashville online or live on Thursday to see what the final season has in store for all of the singers, songwriters and producers fans have loved for six seasons. Everyone wants to hear how the last album is going to sound, and that starts with “New Strings.”
Here’s how CMT officially describes the episode:
"After a public meltdown, Juliette seeks to change her life from an unlikely source. Scarlett and Maddie take a trip. Maddie meets Jonah Ford, a famous pop star. Scarlett struggles to find herself. Will coaches Gunnar. Deacon deals with loneliness."
