NFC Wild Card 2018, Panthers vs. Saints live stream: How to watch
By John Buhler
The New Orleans Saints will host the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Wild Card round on Sunday. Here is how to watch this NFC South rivalry game online.
It all comes down to this. Wild card weekend in the NFL is about to be utterly insane. All four matchups are compelling, but not will have the allure of the one going on down in the Big Easy. For the third time this season, the New Orleans Saints (11-5) will take on their NFC South rival in the Carolina Panthers (11-5). Kickoff from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans will be at 4:00 p.m. ET on Jan. 7.
The Saints and Panthers are just two of the three teams from the NFC South that made the NFC playoffs. New Orleans is the No. 4 seed and NFC South winner. Carolina is the No. 5 seed and the defending NFC champion Atlanta Falcons got in as the No. 6. Atlanta is the only team in the NFC playoffs this year that made them last year. It was an unbelievable year in the NFC and we’re just getting started.
Though Carolina and New Orleans had identical 11-5 records, it would be the Saints emerging as the division winner. They finished a game ahead of Atlanta (10-6), as well as completed the season sweep of Carolina. This is the Saints first trip back to the NFC playoffs since 2013 and first division title since 2011. Carolina is back in the NFC playoffs for the fourth time in five years.
