High Value SG
Andrew Wiggins, MIN vs CLE ($6,000): The Cavaliers are 29th against shooting guards and 30th against small forwards in their last 15 games.. Which position you consider Wiggins to play at, the Cavaliers have been bad against it in recent weeks. Wiggins had 43.5 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Saturday, his second 40+ fantasy point game in four contests. His value is still largely tied to his scoring, but in the game where he’s over-performed, he’s rebounding well. This should be a big game for multiple players and Wiggins is one of them. ****
Will Barton, DEN at GS ($5,700): Barton is averaging 36.9 fantasy points in two games against the Warriors this season. He’s been a reliable play as of late, hitting value in four out of his last five games. The Warriors are 19th against the position in their last 15 games. Barton has been great as the playmaker off the bench, playing alongside Trey Lyles, who serves as his top scoring option. He can score a bit himself as well. ***
Gerald Green, HOU at CHI ($5,500): Green missed value against the Pistons, posting 20.75 fantasy points. He’s a bit of a risk-reward player because his value is really tied to the amount of threes he’s able to hit. He certainly gets his looks from deep in the Rockets offense, which is a good thing. The Bulls have not been able to stop anyone as of late, so Green should have a field day letting it fly from beyond the arc. **
