DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 8, 2018

High Salary SF
LeBron James, CLE at MIN ($11,500): James had 75 fantasy points against the Magic, missing a triple-double by one assist. You know what you’re getting with LeBron. He’s going to give you a minimum of 50 fantasy points, especially against a team as defensively weak as the Timberwolves, and there’s always a chance he goes over 60 fantasy points. This one should be a back-and-fourth offensive showdown, which bodes well for the value of James. He’ll push 60 fantasy points in this one. *****
Giannis Antetokounmpo, MIL at IND ($10,900): Antetokounmpo had 54.75 fantasy points in 29 minutes against the Pacers a week ago. The return of Victor Oladipo makes the Pacers a much better team on both ends of the court, so it’s unlikely he produce that kind of production in those few minutes again. The good news is he’ll see a spike in minutes as this game should be close with both offensives rolling. Antetkounmpo is the best scoring threat on the Bucks and he grabs plenty of rebounds. He’ll hit value and should be over 50 fantasy points. ****
Khris Middleton, MIL at IND ($6,900): Middleton has missed value in two straight, but I’m not too concerned about him. He’s hit value in 63 percent of games this season and has been 1.5x over value 21 percent of the time. With his ability to knockdown threes and rebounding the ball, he remains a reliable play. If this one is a big offensive game for both teams, Middleton will certainly have a hand in it. ****
