5. Rashaan Evans – Alabama inside linebacker

There are two very talented inside linebackers on both sides in this game. While much is made of Roquan Smith for the Georgia Bulldogs, Rashaan Evans is another one of those talents that is trying to push his way into the first round.

Based on the nature of playing inside, Evans might be an early day two pick. However, he’ll have plenty of more time to prove why he should be a first-round pick and he has the versatility necessary to match.

He can be moved around a bit and if a team wants to bring him off the edge in certain packages, they very well can. He’s been a huge cog in the Alabama run defense all season and had the stats to back it up.

He finished the season with 10.5 tackles for loss and five sacks to go along with 57 tackles. Considering the amount of talent that Alabama has up front, it can be hard for each player to get their numbers.

Evans matured into his role as a starter during his tenure with the Crimson Tide after starting as a backup to begin his tenure. On Monday night, he can potentially add another championship ring to the collection.
