2. Roquan Smith – Georgia inside linebacker

When it comes to the top talent in this game and in the upcoming NFL Draft class, Roquan Smith is near the top of the list. The Georgia Bulldog is an absolute animal that has made a name for himself with big hits.

Teams looking for a future leader on defense are going to turn their attention to Smith. He’s incredibly instinctual and spent the Rose Bowl sniffing out plays that Baker Mayfield tried to dial up that were working early on.

He delivers big hits and can move sideline to sideline. While Rashaan Evans is trying to make his way into the first, Smith is a lock and depending upon the needs of teams in the upcoming draft, he should be a very high pick.

Now, he has a chance to help bring home a title to the people in Georgia and will basically be playing a home game for the National Championship. Everyone knows what the Crimson Tide are going to try to do on offense.

He’s going to be tasked with shutting down the run and not allowing the team to get beat by the big play-action call. Expect him and fellow draft prospect Lorenzo Carter to be in on plenty of tackles throughout.
