1. Minkah Fitzpatrick – Alabama free safety

The guy that’s been near the top of most big boards throughout the year has been Alabama defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick. For good reason, Fitzpatrick has been one of the most dominant defensive backs during his time at Alabama.

It doesn’t matter where they play him, he helps shut down the side of the field that he is on and he makes his way to the football. Ending up in the end zone with points has become something that Fitzpatrick has become quite familiar with.

Right now, he should be the very first defensive back off the board in the NFL. With the way teams like to air the ball out, getting a defender that can help lock things down in the secondary is going to be an absolute must.

He also can help stick his nose in the run game and even rush the quarterback a little bit if he has to. Against the running game that Georgia has, don’t be surprised if he’s moving up on plenty of downs.

In a big game with a title on the line, Fitzpatrick has plenty of experience in this type of environment. Can he close out his career and head off to the draft with another championship to his name?
