High Salary SG
Eric Bledsoe, MIL at MIA ($6,700): Bledsoe has been at value in better in 65 percent of games this season, but has been inconsistent as late, hitting value in just three of his last six. He’s done well alongside Brogdon, hitting value in three of the four games that Brogdon has started. He’s a solid scorer, but inconsistent in other categories. I like him to be just around value, but not much higher. He’s a low-end reliable pick. ***
Khris Middleton, MIL at MIA ($6,400): Middleton was a non-factor against the Warriors on Friday, contributing 19.25 fantasy points in that contest. Middleton has been a bit cold from beyond the arc recently, which is a bad sign for his value. He does a decent job of rebounding and picking up assists, but not enough to make up the value if he’s not scoring. His low salary makes him easier to fit into your lineup, but like Bledsoe, he’s low-end reliable. ***
Jimmy Butler, MIN vs POR ($8,900): Butler was a rare miss on Friday, collecting just 28.5 fantasy points against the Knicks. Expect a bounce back game for Butler give his play since mid-November. He had 55.5 fantasy points against the Trail Blazers on Dec. 18. I like him to be at 45+ fantasy points on Sunday. ****
CJ McCollum, POR at MIN ($7,600): McCollum has been at value or better in five straight games. He’s been a reliable play all season, hitting value in 66 percent of contests. More importantly, he’s been a dud in just five percent of contests. So, even if he’s not hitting value, he’s never too far off. He should be around 35 fantasy points against the Timberwolves. ***
