DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 14, 2018

High Value PF
Michael Beasley, BY vs NO ($5,900): After hitting value in six straight, Beasley managed just 20.75 fantasy points in 16 minutes against the Timberwolves. It is a little worrying that his minutes were down and I would suspect that the return of Tim Hardaway Jr. will cut into his minutes and production. His salary has not dipped low enough to where I’m comfortable saying he’ll be at value given the unknown status of his minutes. **
Bam Adebayo, MIA vs MIL ($4,200): James Johnson will be back for Miami, which could mean reduced minutes for Adebayo. He’s played so well in the last two games that one would hope that he will continue to play solid minutes, but that’s not guaranteed. He doesn’t come with a high salary, so he’s not that big a risk. He’ll easily hit value if he plays 20+ minutes. But there’s a chance he only plays 15 minutes, limiting his production. ***
Taj Gibson, MIN vs POR ($5,700): Gibson has hit value in three of his last four. He wasn’t great against the Blazers on Dec. 18, collecting 17.5 fantasy points in that contest. He needs 24.9 fantasy points to hit value on Sunday. He’s a solid scorer and rebounder, but his numbers have been inconsistent as of late. I still like him at value in this one given the matchup. ***
Dragan Bender, PHO vs IND ($4,800): It looks like Marquese Chriss will miss Sunday’s contest. That means Bender will once again draw the start in his place. Bender had 43.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City when Chriss went down early with the injury and had 32.5 fantasy points against the Rockets in start of Chriss. The Pacers are 17th against the position in their last 15 games. ****
