Freestyle Skiing: “Bust A Move” – Young MC
This was the hardest one to figure out. Seriously, every single video I could find on YouTube of awesome free styling skiing was accompanied by nails on a chalkboard squealing millennials call dubstep. No, I’m not going to tolerate that nonsense. Instead, I think we need to go pre-internet with this one and “Bust A Move”.
There are certainly a lot of Young MCs out there that can get behind this amazing 1990s dance grove. It’s so groovy in fact that Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers is slapping da bass, mon on this track and of course, he’s not wearing a shirt. He’s so Gen X, it’s ridiculous and I think the avocado toast millennials will appreciate that.
So why does this work with freestyle skiing? Because it’s basically about Busting A Move whenever you get near a rail or a hill, bruh. It does not matter if you French fry when you should have pizza-ed, you can absolutely Bust A Move when you’re flying through the sky like an American Eagle for America in the Winter Olympics. ‘Murica!
This is one of those songs you can’t be in a bad mood when you listen to it. Similarly, you’re not going to have a bad time, bruh, when you attempt to freestyle ski in the Olympics. One, you’re in the Olympics. And two, you’re having more fun than a five-year-old at Chuck E. Cheese’s on his birthday. For probably all freestyle skiers, they have made it their life goals to live their life like it’s their fifth birthday at Chuck E. Cheese’s every day. To that, I’ll Bust A Move for sure.
