High Value PF

Trey Lyles, DEN vs DAL ($5,800): After steamrolling through December and early January, Lyles has missed value in three straight. He had 9.5 fantasy points against the Spurs on Saturday. That was the end of a four-game in six-day stretch for the Nuggets, so I’m willing to give him another shot on Tuesday. He had 23.2 fantasy points in 16 minutes against Dallas on Dec. 4. He should return to value in this one. ***

Taj Gibson, MIN or ORL ($5,600): Gibson had 46.8 fantasy points against the Magic on Nov. 22. That marked a season-high for the Minnesota power forward. He’s unlikely to hit that number again, but this is certainly a great matchup for him and the rest of the Timberwolves. His rebounding numbers have been down thanks to other guys getting bust on the boards, but overall his a reliable play. ***

Dirk Nowitzki, DAL at DEN ($5,000): Nowitzki missed value by 2.2 fantasy points on Friday against the Lakers. He’s been fairly reliable this season, hitting value in 68 percent of games. He had 19.2 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Dec. 4. That number would put him under value on Tuesday. The Nuggets are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. I like Nowitzki to have a bounce back performance, hitting value in this one. ***
