The Buffalo Bills made it to the AFC Playoffs as a Wild Card this past season, making it to the playoffs for the first time since 1999. The Bills fought hard against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Wild Card Round, but really were not able to get anything done on the offensive side fo the ball. The team ended up losing to the Jags by the score of 10-3, and after the Jags beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 45-42 in the Divisional Round, you could say the Bills defense is one that is moving in the right direction.

On the offensive side of the ball, not so much, as this team had struggled to move the ball consistently all season long. During the regular season, first-year head coach Sean McDermott made the move to Nathan Peterman from Tyrod Taylor, and Peterman proceeded to throw five interceptions in his only start. McDermott made the move back to Taylor after that start against the Los Angeles Chargers, but it was clear Taylor’s time as the starter in Buffalo would be coming to a close.

In the 2018 NFL Draft, the Bills will pick twice in a round in the first round, and they could use their first of two picks on a quarterback. Lamar Jackson from Louisville has the talent to be a very good player at the next level, and he may be passed over early in round one. If he falls to the Bills at No. 21, they should look to draft him, as he was a dominant player in college, and has the skill set to be a dominant player at the next level.
