High Value SF

Evan Fournier, ORL at CLE ($5,500): Fournier has hit value in two of his last three. He’s coming off a strong 41.5 fantasy point game against the Timberwolves. He had 26.25 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Jan. 6. I don’t love anyone on the Magic, but Fournier’s three-point shooting makes him an attractive option in DraftKings. The Cavaliers lack of defense makes him even more attractive. I assume Arron Afflalo will be suspended, which means more opportunities for Fournier to contribute. ***

Thaddeus Young, IND at POR ($5,300): Young has hit value in four of his last five. The Trail Blazers are 25th against power forwards in their last 15 games. Young is a solid scorer who can knockdown threes and contribute on the glass. He needs 23 fantasy points to hit value on Thursday. I like him to be around that number, although I acknowledge that he is a slight risk given the Trail Blazers overall defense. ***

Robert Covington, PHI at BOS ($5,300): Covington posted a season low 8.75 fantasy points against the Celtics on Jan. 11. I’d be highly surprised if he’s held to below 15 fantasy points in this one. With J.J. Redick out, Covington should see more opportunities from three. He’s been more hit than miss in recent weeks, hitting value jus twice since Christmas. He needs 22.6 fantasy points to hit value on Thursday. I expect him to be around that number. ***
