High Salary SF

LeBron James, CLE vs ORL ($12,500): James had 76.5 fantasy points against the Magic on Jan. 6, leading the Cavaliers in all categories. One would think he won’t have to do all the heavy lifting for Cleveland again, but that’s probably not the case given the way they’ve been playing. The Magic are 29th against the position in their last 15 games. There’s a chance the Cavaliers figure some things out given the easy matchup, but it’s more likely that this one is closer than it needs to be. That means James will play big minutes and put up big numbers across the board. Another 60+ fantasy point game should not be out of the question for the Cleveland small forward. *****

Jimmy Butler, MIN at HOU ($10,000): The Rockets are 26th against the position in their last 15 games. I fully expect the Timberwolves to bounce back from their lethargic performance against the Magic. This is a big game for Minnesota and I have no doubt that Butler will step up and deliver a strong performance. He’s Minnesota’s top option and puts up big scoring numbers along with solid numbers in other categories. He needs 40.9 fantasy points to hit value on Thursday. I like him to be around 50 fantasy points as he tries to takeover and carry Minnesota to victory. *****
