Brighton face Chelsea at Falmer Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 20. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Brighton have been fairly inconsistent in their first season back up in the top flight. They got off to a quick start but have since dropped to 16th place. They currently have 23 points, which is only three points clear of the drop zone. Pascal Groß and Glen Murray lead the team in assists and goals, respectively. In addition, Matt Ryan has held it down between the sticks starting every game for Brighton. If they want a shot at beating Chelsea, their defense and Ryan will need to be on top of their game.

However, Chelsea have been on a bit of a skid recently. They were held scoreless by Norwich in the FA Cup and it took penalties in the rematch to beat them. Also, Alvaro Morata and Pedro were both shown red cards midweek against Norwich so they will miss this match. Brighton have a chance because of all the factors surrounding Chelsea, but those external factors could also rally them together. If Chelsea can put their last few games behind them, this game against Brighton could be a rout. The Blues will likely be angry after the horrible officiating in the Norwich game, and Brighton will be the unfortunate team they take it out on.
