EC3 spotted at WWE performance center

TNA alum Ethan Carter III was reportedly spotted at WWE’s performance center.

It looks as if the former TNA alumni Ethan Carter III could be on his way to the WWE.  It’s been reported by PWInsider that EC3 has indeed been spotted at the WWE Performance center. However, it’s unknown that EC3 will be using the same gimmick in TNA if he does in fact come to WWE — although it’s worth noting that the same report also stated that EC3 does own the rights of his character, meaning that he can use it anywhere he wants. However, this does not mean that if he comes to WWE he is immune from a potential name change.

As for the possibility of him joining the Royal Rumble, it’s worth noting that he has reportedly cancelled an independent show that he was scheduled to appear on the same day as the Royal Rumble. At this time, however, there is no confirmation that he will be appearing at the Royal Rumble.

As Impact Wrestling lost a lot of momentum over the years since its departure from Spike TV, someone like Ethan Carter III could definitely benefit himself as a top level wrestling star if he were to go to WWE or any other top wrestling promotion like NJPW. Keep in mind that Carter is 34 years of age, and if there was ever a time to make a jump to WWE and become an asset to the company, now it’s the right time. He has a good look and has the charisma, but it’s unknown how WWE would book his character if he were in fact coming to the promotion.

It’s well known EC3 has in fact wrestled for WWE years ago as Derrick Bateman, who didn’t have much success and was pretty much regulated to NXT for most of his run. However, times have changed, and it could be the best opportunity for EC3 to become a mega star if he does in fact join WWE.
