The FanSided soccer staff make their predictions for the weekend’s Premier League games, including Manchester City vs. Newcastle at the Etihad.

The Premier League continues this weekend, with Manchester City looking to rebound from their first league loss of the season, against Liverpool at Anfield last Sunday, when they take on Newcastle at the Etihad on Saturday.

The Citizens fell 4-3 to Liverpool at Anfield in one of the best matches of the season. The Reds led 4-1, and Pep Guardiola can take heart from the way his side fought their way back into the game. Still, his hopes of finishing the league season without a loss were dashed with the defeat.

City will attempt to get back on track against a Newcastle side battling relegation. The Magpies are in 15th place, three points above the drop zone. Rafa Benitez employed an ultra-defensive game plan the last time these sides met, and suffered a 1-0 loss.

The other highlights of the weekend see Burnley, struggling a little after their phenomenal start to the season, host Manchester United at Turf Moor; Arsenal welcome in-form Crystal Palace to the Emirates; and Liverpool play Swansea looking to build on their big win last weekend.
