Eagles fans, never known to be subtle or gentle, ruthlessly trolled the Vikings in the middle of an NFC Championship blowout.

For the second time in less than twenty years, the Minnesota Vikings were on the wrong end of an NFC Championship blowout. In 2001 the Vikings lost 41-0 to the New York Giants, and 17 years later they lost a title game blowout to the Eagles. Maybe the Vikings should stop drawing NFC East teams in the biggest game of January.

If you were counting on Eagles fans to not rub this in, you don’t know the City of Brotherly Love. It’s a fan base that once booed Santa Claus before pelting him with snowballs — they’re neither a subtle nor gentle people.

That’s why it should come as no surprise that Eagles fans, amid a 38-7 blowout, trolled Vikings fans by performing their sacred ‘SKOL’ chant.

They then followed that chant up with ‘We Want Brady’, in reference to the matchup that awaits in the Super Bowl.

Always be careful what you ask for, and Eagles fans watching this Super Bowl run are old enough to know what happened the last time Tom Brady awaited in the big game. No one knew we were going to get Eagles-Patriots II, but here we are just over a decade after the two teams met in Super Bowl 39 preparing to watch them go at it again.

This time around, Nick Foles will be the one leading Philly to potential glory and it’s only making his revenge tour storyline even sweeter. No matter what waits in two weeks for the Eagles, right now fans can’t stop relishing in making it back to a game that fans wait their entire lives to see just once.
