Will The Rock be at the 25th anniversary edition of WWE Monday Night RAW?
With the 25th anniversary edition of Monday Night RAW about to hit the airwaves, people are wondering what the night has in store for the WWE Universe. Just a few days ago, we posted a list of the confirmed superstars about to appear on this special episode, including the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chris Jericho. However, one of the biggest names in WWE history has yet to be confirmed. Of course, we’re talking about The Rock.
Rumors have been swirling for weeks on whether or not The Rock would show up in Brooklyn or at The Manhattan Center for this big event. Word was that if he could get away, he would catch a flight to RAW or possibly appear via satellite. After all, The Rock was one of the stars that helped WWE’s flagship show emerge victorious in the Monday Night War with WCW.
Just a couple of hours ago, The Rock took to Twitter to talk about one of the most historic nights on RAW.
In honor of tonight’s @WWE’s #RAW25. Most important moment in RAW history. On this night we became the #1 wrestling show in the world.. and never looked back. My privilege to “do the honors” (lose the title) to @RealMickFoley. *crowds ELECTRICITY was incomprehensible. #goosebumps pic.twitter.com/8zcpzOFYpL

However, The Rock still hasn’t given us a clue on whether or not he’ll be in New York tonight. I’m honestly banking on him being there as this is too big of a night for him to miss out on. A segment with Stone Cold would be absolutely amazing, just as it was when the two appeared together alongside Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania XXX. With no clear answer, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
