The Wizards weren’t able to defend their home court against the Bucks, dropping their second game at home this season against their conference opponent. Washington had 24 turnovers in the game, and they shot 28 percent on their 21 3-point attempts to give away a game they could have easily won if they hadn’t been so careless with the ball. Things didn’t get any better when they went on the road to Charlotte, where they gave up 77 points in the first half and were dominated, 133-109.

The Wizards defense has not been very good as of late, and they were really bad against Charlotte. Their defense wasn’t any better against the Pistons, and although they won 122-112, they’ve given up over 100 points in 17 straight games. They didn’t have to worry about defense in their final game of the week against the Pistons, as they rolled to 45 points on 20 shots in the third quarter. Congrats to Kelly Oubre Jr., who has enjoyed a fine season this year, setting a new career-high with 26 points.
