High Value C

Enes Kanter, NY at DEN ($6,200): If Kristaps Porzingis is out, Kanter will likely see plenty of minutes. As long as he plays, he’ll produce. Even if Porzingis is about to play, Kanter should still see 25+ minutes given the matchup. The Nuggets are second against the position in their last 15 games, but Kanter gets rebounds and paint points in limited minutes better than anyone in the league. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four. He needs27.2 fantasy points to hit value on Thursday. ***

Mason Plumlee, DEN vs NY ($5,000): If Plumlee starts, you can safely play him. He had 34.9 fantasy points as the starter against the Trail Blazers and 40.8 fantasy points against the Clippers as a starter. However, if he’s coming off the bench, he’s not worth it. Given the matchup and the Knicks playing a traditional center along with Kristaps Porzingis, I assume Plumlee will start. He’ll get you the 21.9 fantasy points he needs to hit value as a starter. He’ll likely be under that number if he’s coming off the bench, because he won’t get off the bench. **

Bam Adebayo, MIA vs SAC ($4,200): My assumption here is that Adebayo will get extra playing time given the matchup. This one could be over by the third quarter, meaning Adebayo gets extended run. He’s been hit-or-miss in recent contests, but when he plays, he typically produces solid games. The Kings are 24th against the position in their last 15 games. He’s a risk because there’s always a chance that he doesn’t get enough playing time to produce, so I understand if you stay away. *
