High Value SG

Will Barton, DEN vs NY ($6,500): If Gary Harris doesn’t play, that should mean extra opportunities for Barton. He’s missed value in his last two, although the Suns game was due to a lack of minutes more than a lack of production. He should see his typical 30+ minutes in this one. He hasn’t knocked down a three in his last two games and didn’t have a single field goal against the Blazers. I can’t imagine he’s held without a field goal against the Knicks. He’s been decent this year, hitting value in 63 percent of games. But when he’s been bad, he’s been really bad. ***

Andrew Wiggins, MIN at GS ($6,500): The Warriors are 30th against the position in their last 15 games. Wiggins has hit value in four straight. With Jimmy Butler out, Wiggins is the top perimeter option and is the only reliable perimeter option to get points. He doesn’t do enough in other categories to make up value if he’s not scoring, but right now, he’s scoring. Until he hits a slump or Butler returns and take a noticeable cut into his production, he’s a solid choice. ****

Tim Hardaway Jr., NY at DEN ($5,900): Hardaway Jr. missed value by less than two fantasy points in his last two games. He needs 24.8 fantasy points to hit value on Thursday. He’s struggled in three of his last four, but the good news is that he played 35 minutes against the Warriors. That shows he’s back in game shape and should start to find the consistency he showed early in the season. The matchup isn’t great as the Nuggets are 12th against the position in their last 15 games, but Hardaway Jr. should get you at least 25 fantasy points. ***
