4. Every Gronkowski not named Rob

This would be a slam dunk as far as publicity goes for the XFL. Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is one of the biggest names in football and will likely still be that way in 2020. Since he almost certainly will be too busy in the NFL, some of his brothers could be available. Riding the coattails of the Gronk family would be a smart move for the XFL.

There is a question of just how well any of the combo of Glenn, Chris, or Dan could play two years from now. Gordie went into a career in baseball and isn’t likely to play. The other three have all spent some time with an NFL team at some point in their career. Rob would certainly want to be on hand to watch at some point and the XFL wants to have likable personalities on board. Some folks might be annoyed by Gronk and his antics but he’s basically a harmless knucklehead. His brothers carry the name that would get them in the door. As long as they could hold their own on the field, it would be an easy win. Playing football as a family and having a good time otherwise is a very easy sell from any angle.
