The XFL is back! Where should their first five teams be located?

Vince McMahon founder of Alpha Entertainment held a press conference to announce the return of the XFL, McMahon’s announcement can be found here. McMahon was a previous owner of the failed XFL league, he is most famous for his work as Chairman and CEO of WWE, Inc. This announcement is exciting for all football fans especially those fans who don’t have an NFL team in their city. Here are the top five cities that should have new team.

5. Oakland California — Oakland Marauders

Football never should have left Oakland, the fans are way too deserving of a team. The XFL can give the NFL a slight dig here by picking a team name close to the Raiders and keep the familiar color scheme of black and silver. There is no doubt Oakland is a deserving market, Raiders owner Mark Davis moved the team because he wanted a new stadium, not because of poor fan attendance. Even though the move may pay off for Davis, it robbed Oakland of their team. McMahon has the opportunity to make a strong statement against the NFL by announcing Oakland as one of the first teams in the new league.

The Marauders team name is just close enough to the Raiders name to mock the NFL. As  mentioned the team needs to stick to black and silver. Any team playing in Oakland would look out-of-place in anything else.
