After winning six straight Serie A titles, Juventus have spent the majority of the season chasing Napoli. Entering the 22nd matchweek of the season, Juventus are one point Napoli. On Sunday, Chievo host Juventus at Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium.

Chievo have struggled lately, falling down the table after picking up only two points in their last seven games. Rolando Maran’s side have struggled to defend this season, allowing 37 goals, the fifth most in Serie A. After allowing five goals to a Lazio side without Ciro Immobile, Chievo could be in line for another tough game. Only Lazio have scored more goals than Juventus this season. To make Sunday’s game even more difficult for Chievo, the club is without leading scorer Roberto Inglese, who will miss the game with a knee injury.

Juventus have won five straight games to keep pace with Napoli, allowing only one goal over that stretch. After struggling to figure out which center-back should replace Leonardo Bonucci next to Giorgio Chiellini, Massimiliano Allegri has settled on Medhi Benatia, who has played much better over the last two months after struggling to start the season. Douglas Costa has also picked up his play after a slow start to his first season in Turin. Costa has turned into Allegri’s first choice at left-wing, rewarding his manager with the game-winning goal against Genoa in the last game. Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuaín have combined for 23 of Juventus’ 50 goals this season. However, Dybala will miss Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury, putting more pressure on Higuain to perform.
