FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 28, 2018
High Value PG
Jerian Grant, CHI vs MIL ($6,300): Grant had a bounce back game against the Lakers, posting 28.2 fantasy points in that contest. As long as he’s the starting point guard, he’s going to see solid minutes and usage. He needs 26 fantasy points to hit value on Sunday. I think he’ll be around that number. ***
Milos Teodosic, LAC at NO ($4,500): Teodosic has been over value in two of his last three. The Pelicans are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. He’s been hit-or-miss this season, hitting value in 58 percent of games. I don’t know how the Pelicans are mentally with the Cousins news and I fear that this is a letdown game for them against a desperate Clippers team. ***
Ish Smith, DET at CLE ($5,800): The Pistons are on a back-to-back, but I still don’t trust the Cavaliers defense despite their performance against the Pacers. Smith has been pushed back to the bench, but he still sees plenty of minutes alongside the starters. I’m still a proponent of taking guards against the Cavaliers, even if Detroit doesn’t have the greatest guards in the world. ***
Dejounte Murray, SA vs SAC ($5,800): Murray has been over value in all four games as the Spurs starter. The Kings are 10th against the position in their last 15 games, but their overall defense is at the bottom of the league. He needs 24 fantasy points to hit value on Sunday. He should reach that number without too much trouble. ****
