There are few events in sports and/or sports entertainment that create the excitement of the WWE Royal Rumble. As the first big pay-per-view of the year and the first stepping stone to WrestleMania annually, that means it’s always a big event. They pull out the stops and make things happen at these shows, which is surely what’s in store for Sunday, Jan. 28 in Philadelphia, PA.

At the forefront of everyone’s minds is obviously the Royal Rumble match itself. Not only does the winner get to be in one of the main events of Mania, but it also features the spectacle of 30 superstars — some of them surprises, which are always great — duking it out.
