High Value PG
Jeff Teague, MIN at ATL ($6,100): Teague had 12.4 fantasy points in 24 minutes against the Nets. He sat out the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. He should be good to go in this one, but check his status before making any decisions. If Teague can’t play, definitely pick up Tyus Jones, who will draw the start and see big minutes in his place. If Teague can play, he should have an easy time against his former team. He needs 25.3 fantasy points to hit value. I’m a little concerned about the ankle, but figure he’ll at least hit value. ****
Darren Collison, IND vs CHA ($5,500): Collison has been over value in eight straight. He puts up solid scoring and assist numbers, but has really helped his value in recent games with his ability to come up with steal. The Hornets are 10th against the position in their last 15 games, but this feels like a game where a lot of points will be scored. If that’s the case, Collison will do his part of chipping in. He should be over 25 fantasy points in this one and needs 22.8 fantasy points to hit value. ****
Yogi Ferrell, DAL vs MIA ($4,400): After posting 6.2 fantasy points against the Trail Blazers, Ferrell bounced back with 20.6 fantasy points against the Nuggets. He had 33.4 fantasy points against the Het on Dec. 22. As long as J.J. Barea is out, Ferrell should be the top scoring option off the Dallas bench. The Heat are third against the position in their last 15 games, but Ferrell sees enough opportunities to where he should hit value. He’s a nice low cost option who needs 18.3 fantasy points to hit value. He should give you at least 20 fantasy points on Monday. ***
