High Salary PF
Anthony Davis, NO vs SAC ($11,400): In his first post-Cousins game, Davis deliver 60.75 fantasy points against the Clippers. Expect more of the same from the New Orleans forward, moving forward. He wasn’t great against the Kings on Dec. 8, posting 27.5 fantasy points in that contest. His rebounding and scoring numbers were down in that contest. I can’t imagine that happening again given his newfound opportunities and the Kings general poor play. Davis should be over 50 fantasy points once again on Tuesday. *****
Kevin Durant, GS at UTA ($9,800): I will note that if by chance Blake Griffin is cleared to play on Tuesday against the Cavaliers, I like him more than Kevin Durant. Griffin is a much cheaper option and should produce a strong game given the matchup and motivation. I have excluded him (and everyone involved in the trade) as I doubt they’ll be able to play for their respective teams on Tuesday. As for Durant, I expect his usual reliable game. He struggled against the Celtics, but should have an easier time against the Jazz. He should be right around value on Tuesday. ****
Kristaps Porzingis, NY vs BKN ($8,100): Porzingis had 41.75 fantasy points in 27 minutes against the Nets on Jan. 15. In three games against Brooklyn this season, Porzingis is averaging 38.2 fantasy points in 24.7 minutes. So, when he’s playing, he’s producing big games. That should be the case once again on Tuesday. He had missed value in three straight before hitting value by .1 fantasy points against the Suns. His minutes were down on the road trip, but he should see an increase with the Knicks back at home. The Knicks in general should see better production back in New York. *****
