The short answer is no, the Pearson family is taking this Tuesday off. That’s because all of the four major broadcast networks are pre-empting their regular programming to cover President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address.
So that’s not some sort of play to keep you waiting even longer to learn the full truth about how Jack Pearson (Milo Ventimiglia) died — that’s what everyone is doing tonight!
But never fear, Pearson fans. This may actually work out better for you in the end, because NBC is already planning to serve up a new This Is Us episode post-Super Bowl 52.
