High Salary SG
Victor Oladipo, IND vs MEM ($10,100): Oladipo has missed value in three straight. However, in two of those games he was less than one fantasy point from hitting value. However, his salary has climbed to where he needs 42.3 fantasy points to hit value on Wednesday. He’s hit that number just once since Jan. 18. This is a good matchup as the Grizzlies rank 25th against the position in their last 15 games. Oladipo should be in for a big night, but that high salary does scare me a bit. I think he’ll be right around value, but do worry that he’ll fall just short. He’s not quite a risk but I’m confident in him producing at least 40 fantasy points. ***
Tyreke Evans, MEM at IND ($8,400): After missing a couple of games with an illness, Evans came off the bench against the Suns and contributed 36.2 fantasy points. I would imagine that he will regain his starting role on Wednesday and that his minutes will be up, assuming this one isn’t a rout. Evans had 45.7 fantasy points against the Pacers on Nov. 15. The Pacers are 16th against the position in their last 15 games. Evans should post his usual scoring numbers, and if he’s back with the starters, his assist numbers will be up. ****
CJ McCollum, POR vs CHI ($8,000): McCollum had 32 fantasy points against the Clippers on Tuesday. He’s been great in back-to-back games this season, hitting value in six of eight games. In his two misses, he was within two fantasy points of value. The Bulls are 23rd against the position in their last 15 games and I always worry about Eastern Conference teams who have to travel to the west coast. I especially worry about the Bulls, given their defense and the uncertainty surrounding a certain power forward. McCollum should be right around value (33.5 fantasy points0 in this one. ***
