The five game slate is the largest that you will see in the Euro League. This is a loaded slate at guard, but we can afford a few of them by taking advantage of the value in the Real Madrid frontcourt.
The Euro league is a different animal. It is much more halfcourt oriented than the NBA game. The games are also eight minutes shorter. There are 16 teams in the Euro League instead of 30. That means a more shallow player pool to choose from!

Guards:
I’m going to avoid the Luka Doncic situation. He twisted his ankle in practice yesterday, and we wont know if he will take the court until right before tipoff. At least several of the better options still tip after Doncic so we can switch if need be. See DraftKings? See why late swap is a wonderful thing and should be the standard across ALL tournaments?
My favorite of those is Kevin Pangos. Pangos has six straight games with more than 30 DraftKings points, and that included some tough matchups. The one tonight against Tel Aviv is not one of them. We should see a big game out of Pangos again. On the other side of this, Pierre Jackson is also in a good situation. He has 75.75 DraftKings points over the last two games, so Jackson has been on fire as well. Jackson’s teammate, Norris Cole, put up 40.25 in the first meeting against Zalgiris.
Thomas Huertel has a fantastic matchup against Milan, who is the worst team defending the perimeter in the Euro League. His numbers have been close to that of Jackson anyway, so this is a good place to save a couple of thousand. On the other side of that, Jordan Theodore had 39.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Barcelona, and has put up 106.75 DraftKings points in the last three games after the clunker against Olympiacos in round 17.
If Doncic sits, that opens up a lot of value in the Real Madrid backcourt. Facundo Campazzo is still a solid value, but CKSA is the best team defending guards in the Euro League. I would rather drop down to Jaycee Carroll for just $4,000 and take my chances with him. Carroll likely wont see enough court time unless Doncic is out though.
Valencia is also a place for value with Stan Van Rossom, Vives, and Diot all out. That means Rafa Martinez and Sergi Garcia could both be great values. If you are looking for more consistent value, Deandre Kane, Vasilije Micic, and Pau Ribas all have great matchups.
Forwards:
Will Clyburn has been well under value lately, but he did put up 30.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Real Madrid. If you can stomach the back to back subpar rounds, Clyburn has a solid matchup. Tibor Pleiss is the safer, and cheaper, option. Pleiss is playing Efes, who has been the worst team in the league against forwards for much of the season. This is a great place to get exposure.
Jonah Bolden went nuts on Zalgiris in the first meeting, and if Paulius Jankunas is still out, this is a great matchup for Bolden. We know that we have to use at least one Real Madrid player in the frontcourt, right? With Gustavo Ayon still out and Doncic questionable, Walter Tavares looks like a superb option, though is price has taken that predictable jump. The sleeper here is Anthony Randolph, who is expected to return today. However, if he doesn’t start, I’m not sure I like him at this price.
I’m still big on Aaron White regardless of the status of Jankunas. White has 90.5 DraftKings points over the last three rounds, and he is still only $7,400. DeShaun Thomas has been strong since returning from a knee injury. He has 70.75 DraftKings points over the last three games. He is a suitable pivot from White, though I would rather use both. White has too much value right now.
Zoran Dragic is still on the cusp of the value tier despite going for over 30 DraftKings points twice in the last four rounds. A matchup against Valencia is a pretty solid one. That makes Dragic a nice value target. Joining him is Rudy Fernandez, though this situation could get tricky depending on how many minutes Anthony Randolph gets.
In the value tier, Artsiom Parakhouski still stands out, though he has slowed in recent weeks. He looked better against Milan last week, and has a good matchup with Zalgiris this week. Fernando San Emeterio is about the same price. He is more consistent, but Parakhouski has more upside.
Looking even cheaper, Victor Claver racked up 23.25 DraftKings points last round with Kevin Seraphin out. the Barcelona frontcourt is still pretty crowded, but Claver was the only non-starter that stepped up.
