Will Super Bowl LII include a President Donald Trump Super Bowl interview? Here’s all you need to know about the Donald Trump Super Bowl interview.
With Super Bowl LII upon us, speculation remains as to whether or not there will be a Donald Trump Super Bowl interview.
Traditionally, one part of the Super Bowl festivities includes a pre-game interview with the President of the United States. But there’s been conflicting reports as to whether or not President Trump would be participating in a post-Super Bowl LII interview.
President Trump made clear earlier this month that you wouldn’t be able to watch a Donald Trump Super Bowl interview on NBC, which is airing Super Bowl LII, and on which he formerly hosted (and continued to executively produce) the Apprentice reality franchise.
Instead, rumors flew that the President might take his pre-game interview to Fox News, after having done his interview with Bill O’Reilly last year (when FOX was broadcasting the Big Game). Or would he skip what’s become something of a tradition entirely, given his vocal criticism of the NFL’s national anthem situation?
Now the dust has settled and we seem to have an answer: if you’re hoping to watch the Donald Trump Super Bowl interview, you’re out of luck. There’s no Donald Trump Super Bowl interview scheduled for Super Bowl LII, on Fox News, NBC or otherwise, though NBC says its invitation for him to appear before the game remains open.
However, you can place a bet on how many times he’ll tweet during the Big Game, among a list of many non-football related Super Bowl LII prop bets.
