We don’t have to use our imagination to know how Eagles fans are reacting to their team winning their first Super Bowl. We have Twitter.

After being ditched at the Super Bowl altar twice, the Philadelphia Eagles proved the third time was a charm. Winning the game wasn’t going to be easy, many predicted Tom Brady and the New England Patriots would add a sixth trophy to their case but it wasn’t to be.

This post isn’t about the Patriots (for once). No, this is about the victorious Eagles and their long-suffering fans.

The feeling of euphoria is running rampant in the City of Brotherly Love, but another feeling may be one of relief. The thought that their team are finally champion in the football world is a feeling that is hard to describe, and one that we’ll let Eagles Twitter describe for us.

What about the “Broad Street Bullies?” They’re all of a sudden forgotten in Philly sports history?

We can’t describe it, either. This is probably the biggest thing to ever happen in Philadelphia since the Liberty Bell cracked. It’s that special.

You know they are!

Awww!! He is so cute!!!

Leave it to Ellen to create the perfect tweet to describe Eagles nation.

Brady will be the perfect spokesperson for Kleenex.

Idea: Just skip This is Us and go streaking in the streets.

Then, of course, there are the usual championship celebration antics in real life. People flooding the city and getting into a little bit of mayhem.

Everybody is practicing their “Eagles Strut” tomorrow, and Patriots fans are practicing their lines for calling in sick.

Fly, Eagles, Fly!
