Justin Timberlake performed the halftime show at Super Bowl 52. Decisions were made. Questions were raised.

Fallen boy band and pop R&B darling Justin Timberlake’s Super Bowl halftime show was full of decisions.

Truthfully, the majority of the performance was fine — a decent medley of Timberlake’s bonafide bangers and the man can dance. Still, Timberlake’s attire was terribly distracting. His look has been described in turns as “not good,” “garbage” and “like a bitcoin millionaire who just bought his way into Westworld.”

Then, despite all optimism that Timberlake had scrapped the idea, there was the Prince tribute.

Anyways, decisions were made and questions were raised. Including but not limited to:

  1. Where is he at the start of this? Is he under the stage? In a cave?
  2. Is that a Jenner?
  3. Isn’t he married?
  4. Isn’t Jessica Biel from Minnesota?
  5. What is he wearing?
  6. Is he really doing “Rock Your Body”?
  7. Is that really the whole stage?
  8. What’s up with his bandana?
  9. Should we recognize any of these musicians and dancers?
  10. Again: Is that a Jenner?
  11. Okay, but really, what is he wearing?
  12. Is choreographed dancing on the field the only good part of any halftime show?
  13. Yeesh, is this his vocals or bad sound mixing?
  14. Wait, really we’re doing the Prince tribute?
  15. Does JT think using a giant silk screen (?) projection is better than a hologram?
  16. Did he understand the feedback?
  17. Did he get that it wasn’t really about the holograms?
  18. Did he have to do “I Would Die 4 U”?
  19. Wait, are those mirrors in the audience? That’s pretty cool. Sorry, I forgot the show kept going.
  20. Why did I tune back in just in time for this godforsaken Trolls song?
  21. Can they stop the feeling of this halftime show?
