Security prevents Kevin Hart from sneaking on to Super Bowl stage (Video)

A visibly drunk Kevin Hart tried to celebrate with the Philadelphia Eagles on the Super Bowl podium, but security wouldn’t let him through.
Super Bowl LII was a historic one, as the Philadelphia Eagles delivered their first Lombardi Trophy to the city of brotherly love. Tons of celebrity fans were on hand to see it, from Bradley Cooper, Mike Trout, the cast of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Kevin Hart. All of them were over the moon after the final whistle, but one of them went a step too far in their celebrations.
Hart rose to fame during his stand-up specials in 2010 but succumbed to the same fate as many other edgy comedians when he started taking family roles. Perhaps fearing that he had lost some street cred, Hart tried to gain it back by imbibing in his fair share of adult bevarages at the Super Bowl.
When the Lombardi Trophy came out, he tried to celebrate with his hometown Eagles as if he knew them personally. But the security on hand wasn’t buying it and wouldn’t let him on the stage.
Sometimes, the drunk celebrity fan can go over well. A perfect example is when Bill Murray celebrated the Chicago Cubs’ World Series win with an equally drunk Theo Epstein in the clubhouse, which made for fantastic television. Given his star status, Hart may have gotten through if he was respectful. Not even Bradley Cooper, who was sitting in the owners’ box, attempted to go down to the field. But him being denied entry was a clear sign that he was acting belligerent.
And everyone remembers Drake being denied access to the Miami Heat’s locker room after they won the NBA Finals.

Just like the Eagles fan that ran into the subway train, there was bound to be someone from Philadelphia that would take an L even after a win. Not everyone from there is allowed to have nice things. While nobody can blame Hart for getting caught up in the moment, there’s no denying that he crossed the line.
