Kitten Bowl V is coming to your televisions on Super Bowl Sunday. Here’s what you need to know to watch on TV and online.

The only game you need to worry about on Super Bowl Sunday is the Kitten Bowl. In its fifth year, Kitten Bowl V is a celebration of all things feline. Why let the puppies have all the fun when the Last Hope Lions, North Shore Bengals, Pouncy Panthers and Little Longtails are hoping to bring home the title.

The Kitten Bowl features cats and kittens from local shelters across the nation. Some of the competitors have been adopted prior to the Kitten Bowl and some are still available for adoption. Some of the kitty competitors were rescued during Hurricane Harvey and Irma. The greatest thing about the Kitten Bowl is that cat lovers can see all kinds of cats and kittens and think about which type fits their household the best.

While the Kitten Bowl hasn’t been around as long as the Puppy Bowl, it has its own fans who enjoy watching these fuzzy little felines compete for the title. It doesn’t matter who wins in this game because it’s all about bringing the cute, which they do very well.

While the Kitten Bowl is a lot of fun and games and cute kittens and cats, it’s important to remember that there are countless kittens and cats in shelters across the country that need homes. Kitten season is coming in the spring and shelters simply can’t accommodate all of the animals in their care. If you’re thinking about a new cat or kitten, please consider adoption from a shelter or rescue organization first.
