It should surprise no one to hear that Philly fans are already in prime form.

As far as Philly fans go, the below video is tame. Responsible. Standard. Eagles fans are simply doing exactly what you would expect while riding public transportation on the day their team is finally in the Super Bowl. Which is to say, singing the Fly, Eagles, Fly fight song.

What we know about Eagles fans, and what we’ve seen them do, and what we’ve seen cities do in preparation for Philly fans (greased poles? really?), this behavior should really be encouraged. Now, who is to say what’s going on in that cluster. That could be really out of control. But what we can see seems decidedly “in control.” Good for Philly fans! Keep it up!

Just a few days ago, an Uber driver surveyed Philly fans and residents and the results were as nuts as expected.

Some lessons learned:

"Don’t dress up Rocky. You will pay dearly and Philadelphia will never forget. Eagles fans have very conflicting feelings for Chip Kelly.Nick Foles will be a step below a deity in Philadelphia if the Eagles win.Eagles fans really don’t care about your feelings, Vikings fans.Even Philly residents are scared of Eagles fans.Win or lose, nobody’s showing up to work on Monday after the Super Bowl. Just tap out, businesses."

Even Philly residents are scared of Philly fans.

So, really, with the expectation that the entire city is going to need the day off after the activities, just a light casual singalong on the subway is totally unremarkable.
