Watching the Super Bowl just for the Halftime Show? Here is the start time and performers.
Let’s be honest, most people outside of Philadelphia and New England will be watching Super Bowl LII just for the commercials and the halftime show.
If that’s the case, then you will be in luck as Justin Timberlake will take the stage at this year’s festivities. For those who were hoping that Janet Jackson would make a surprise visit on stage, sorry to burst your bubble, but she will not on the stage.
Instead, it will be Timberlake and his dance minions, who, ironically, will also be promoting his new album, the down-to-his-roots Man of the Woods, to a huge audience on Super Bowl Sunday.
Super Bowl Halftime Show
Performing: Justin Timberlake and the Tennessee Kids
Start Time: Approx. 8:10 pm ET
This is Timberlake’s second visit to the halftime show, and he’s speculated that he isn’t bringing any special guest to the stage like he did his last go-round, maybe to prevent another “wardrobe malfunction.”
The only folks who will be joining Timberlake will be The Tennessee Kids, his backing band, which may suggest that he’s not going to be overly political about things as some previous halftime show performers.
Who can ever forget Beyonce’s performance? Yeah, we don’t think Timberlake is going down that route; but that doesn’t meant that there won’t be any politics ingrained in his set.

The NFL has been overshadowed by off-field politics this season, from Colin Kaepernick being blacklisted to the “anthem protest,” this has been one rocky season that we’re sure the league doesn’t want a repeat of in 2018, more or less during the halftime show.
Nevertheless, Timberlake should put on an interesting set for the masses, especially the non-sports folks among your Super Bowl click.
