Two points separate Udinese and AC Milan in Serie A ahead of their game Sunday at Friuli Stadium. Udinese are ninth in Serie A with 32 points, while AC Milan are seventh with 34 points.

Massimo Oddo has completely turned around the season for Udinese since being named manager on Nov. 21. After losing his debut game, Oddo and Udinese have picked up points in eight straight games. The 17 points Udinese have picked up since the beginning of December moving from 14th place to ninth. Udinese have scored the sixth most goals in Serie A this season, with Kevin Lasagna and Antonin Barak sharing the team lead with seven goals apiece.

AC Milan have won three straight games and picked up 10 points in their last four games to move back up the table. Gennaro Gattuso side are three points behind Sampdoria for the final Europa League qualification spot. Despite their recent three-game winning streak, Milan are middle of the league with 29 goals and 29 goals against. Suso, Nikola Kalinic, Franck Kessié, and Giacomo Bonaventura have combined to score 17 of the club’s 29 goals. Patrick Cutrone and Bonaventura scored in Milan’s 2-1 victory over Lazio last weekend. Defensively, Milan are expected to get a boost from the return of full-back Ricardo Rodríguez from injury.
