Joel Embiid is lit after Eagles win Super Bowl LII win, crashes news broadcast
By Kareem Gantt
Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid was caught celebrating theEagles Super Bowl victory on the streets of Philadelphia by a news broadcast.
Philadelphia Eagles fans trusted the process and it led them to a Super Bowl victory. Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers is telling those same Philly fans to trust the process with the city’s NBA team.
You can tell that Embiid, the basketball unicorn for the Sixers, was pretty lit after the victory and was spotted by Philadelphia’s Fox 29 roaming the streets of downtown Philly celebrating with the city’s long-suffering fans.
When he was interviewed by a Fox 29 reporter, Embiid was swept up by the same euphoria that is sweeping the greater Philadelphia area right this moment. In the snap interview, Embiid expressed his joy for the city’s football team bringing home the prize and insisted that his 76ers were next.
After the reporter shouted to Embiid that “he was next,” Embiid shouted out the Sixers famous battle cry: “Trust the Process.”
That one line has been a rallying cry for Philly sports teams this season. Nobody predicted that the Eagles would hoist the Lombardi Trophy, but thanks to some carefully planned offseason acquisitions, they rode the wave all the way to a title.
The Philadelphia Flyers endured what could have been a crippling 10-game winless streak earlier in the season, but has since rebounded and are now sitting in a Wild Card playoff spot. Let us not forget the Sixers, who most thought would be at least a couple of years away from competing for a playoff berth, are currently sitting in the eighth and final playoff spot.
So, yes, Embiid is absolutely correct. You have to trust the process as it has worked in the favor of Philly’s sports teams and has paid off in a big way for the Eagles.
Trust the process!
