Antonio Brown savages Tom Brady for not knowing how to catch a football

Antonio Brown isn’t ready to welcome Tom Brady into the brotherhood of wide receivers.
Super Bowl 52 just finished and it was one of the most memorable in recent memory. The Philadelphia Eagles pulled off the unthinkable and defeated the New England Patriots 41-33 to win their first Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl brings the best and most creative plays out of teams and New England pulled out one to remember. With about 12:04 left in the second quarter the Patriots ran a trick play that ended in Danny Amendola throwing a pass to Tom Brady. If Brady could’ve hauled it in, it would have been a first down and injected life into the whole stadium.
Spoiler alert, Tom isn’t as nimble as he used to be. Amendola’s throw was slightly out of Brady’s reach and his age/lack of athleticism was on full display. The ball fell gently in front of him and the play resulted in a fourth down. Ironically, Nick Foles became the first quarterback in Super Bowl history to catch a touchdown pass later that quarter.
The ‘Philly Special‘ will be regarded as one of the most clever fourth down calls in Super Bowl history. Inversely, if Brady pulled off his catch, the internet would’ve exploded, but it wasn’t meant to be. Luckily for ‘Tom Terrific’, he got the attention of Pittsburgh Steelers superstar Antonio Brown.
Tom may be the greatest quarterback ever, but he clearly has a LONG way to go until he becomes the next Jerry Rice. It’s only fair to the rest of us. One man shouldn’t be able to throw for over 500 yards, win a Super Bowl, and catch passes.

Hopefully, Antonio Brown doesn’t train with Tom in the offseason and turn him into the next, well, Antonio Brown. At 40 years of age, Brady is already defying all logic with is play, but he couldn’t overcome the regular season MVP Super Bowl curse. It’d be better if you just stuck to chucking the rock Tom.
However, before Sunday’s Super Bowl, Tom Brady has had a very efficient career as a wide receiver. In 18 career seasons, he has record two catches for 59-yards on only two targets. While those receiving stats look nice, don’t quit your day job Tom.
