When your team wins the Super Bowl, it opens the door to commemorate the occasion in crazy ways.
One of the best plays in recent Super Bowl history involved a quarterback catching — not throwing — a touchdown. Nick Foles caught a touchdown pass from Trey Burton in the first half of Super Bowl 52, and the play has already become the stuff of legend in Philadelphia.
It wasn’t the game-winning score, but it was a play that perfectly illustrated how well the Eagles work on all levels of their roster.
Dan Morgan is one of those people. A lifelong Eagles fan, Dan wasted no time at all paying tribute to Philly’s first ever Super Bowl championship by getting one of the most creative tattoos possible.
This isn’t your typical ‘World Champ’ or lame prediction tat that was inked a few months before the game was ever played. Morgan drew out the ‘Philly Special’ and inscribed it onto his body forever.
Meet Dan...the Eagles fan who got “The Philly Special” play as a tattoo!!

You only win the Super Bowl for the first time once, so why not go wild?
There’s a couple of things working for Morgan that makes this tattoo stand out above the rest. For starters, it’s creative; he put some actual thought into this and it clearly means something. They say never get a tattoo that doesn’t have meaning, and this is one of those instances.
Another thing is the element of dibs — he’s the first guy to get this tattoo. Even if he’s not, Morgan is the first person to go viral with is, which is a claim stake in the Wild West of the internet.
Above all else, this tattoo represents pure bliss. The Eagles are champions and nothing can take that — or this tattoo — away from fans who are elated to finally be on top of the world.
