The Stanford Cardinal are bringing in some talented recruits on National Signing Day. Here’s how their 2018 class grades out.
Consistency has been the strong suit for the Stanford Cardinal for some time now. David Shaw has had kept his team a conference contender every year he has been in charge and now the Cardinal are looking for a big 2018.
It all starts with National Signing Day on Wednesday. While early National Signing Day made things a bit different this year, with players able to commit earlier, there are still plenty of recruits to be locked up by programs.
The Cardinal are looking to take the Pac-12 back, after losing to USC in the conference championship game this past season. Thus far, their 2018 class is in the middle of the pack when it comes to the Pac-12 conference.
They have 11 players that already signed their letter of intent and three hard commits at the moments.
Four-star PRO style quarterback Jack West is perhaps the biggest name and the Cardinal could very well even be adding another one. Tanner McKee is a big four-star quarterback that has yet to make an official commitment and could give the program another option for the future. Dax Hollifield is a top linebacker recruit that could be a future star on the defense if they can land him as well.

They have a pair of defensive ends incoming as well that should provide help up front. It’s not the most exciting class in the world, but Shaw is known for getting the most out of his classes and producing winners on the field each year.
At the very least, they have put themselves in play for some top recruits that are still available that could greatly improve their ranking.
