The USC Trojans have one of the best recruiting classes in the Pac-12 yet again. Here’s how their 2018 National Signing Day class grades out.
Watching the USC Trojans on National Signing Day always follows an interesting pattern. They come into it with several top recruits locked up, but they’re always on the trail to land more and put themselves near the top.
Right now, the Trojans come into 2018 National Signing Day with a class that should jump into the top 10, if they are able to land some of these four and five-star recruits that have yet to officially make their commitment.
As it stands entering National Signing Day, 10 players have signed a letter of intent to play for the Trojans. The haul that they have is impressive and could arguably be considered the best in conference depending upon what Washington does and the Trojans are set up to add to their haul today.
The gem of this class at the moment is linebacker Palaie Gaoteote. The five-star recruit is the top inside linebacker in the country and one of the best recruits overall in the nation. He probably won’t be the only five-star recruit signing with this class.
Talented cornerbacks Isaac Taylor-Stuart and Olaijah Griffin could both wind end up being Trojans once National Signing Day is officially over. They also currently have a hard commit from five-star quarterback J.T. Daniels.

If they’re able to round out their class with around five five-star prospects, then there’s no doubt that not only will this be the best class in the Pac-12, but one of the best in the country overall. Clay Helton’s program has always been one of the best at recruiting, but they have really hauled in some impressive talent over recent years.
The Trojans are coming off of a Pac-12 Championship and are looking to take that next step and make the College Football Playoff. This is an excellent class to help their cause for the future.
