These are the best college football recruits of the 2019 class and the Georgia Bulldogs already have a trio committed to play in Athens.

The ink on the faxed letters of intent haven’t dried yet but it’s never too early to take an early look at the top recruits of the 2019 class that will be stealing headlines at this time next year.

We head down to Louisiana where the nation’s top high school recruit, Ishmael Sopsher, plays for Amite high school. The 6-5, 279-pound defensive tackle figures to generate plenty of interest from LSU, Alabama and the rest of the SEC and top programs in the country.

The nation’s No. 2 recruit also plays on the defensive line. Kayvon Thibodeaux hails from Thousand Oaks, CA and plays for Oaks Christian. The 6-5, 235-pound defensive end will be tough to pry away from USC.

Georgia already has a commitment from the No. 3 recruit, Jadon Haselwood from Ellenwood, GA. The 6-3, 187-pound receiver is the Dawgs best receiver recruit since A.J. Greene. It’s a long way until he can sign with Georgia so they’ll have to keep on him to make sure others don’t try and poach him away.

Zach Harrison is the No. 4 recruit and hails from Lewis Center, OH so that means the 6-6, 240-pound defensive end will be tough to steal away from Urban Meyer and Ohio State.

Georgia also has a commitment from No. 5 recruit Nolan Smith from IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. The 6-3, 232-pound defensive end projects as a perfect fit in Smart’s 3-4 defense as an outside linebacker.

Smith’s high school teammate, running back Trey Sanders is the highest ranked player at his position (No. 6 overall) and despite backing off his pledge to Alabama still has the Crimson Tide as his leader.

The rest of the top 10 recruits consist of Owen Pappoe, Bru McCoy, Devontae Dobbs and Dominick Blaylock, the third top-10 recruit of the 2019 class to already commit to Georgia.

The nation’s top quarterback recruit, Spencer Rattler, is committed to Oklahoma where the Phoenix native hopes to follow in the footsteps of Baker Mayfield and put up big numbers in Lincoln Riley’s offense.
